Botball Modules

Every bot is made up of five modules:

  • A head module, governing its accuracy and goal-scoring traits;
  • A body module, which defines the bot’s ‘life’ points and battery;
  • An arms module, which defines the bot’s throwing range and physical strength;
  • A motion module, governing the bot’s speed and maneuverability;
  • And a weapon module, which determines the bot’s ability to attack and damage other bots.

Special Abilities

When a bot uses a special ability, it spends a certain percentage of its batteries; when a bot’s batteries reach zero, it cannot use special abilities again until its batteries regenerate. The speed at which a bot regenerates batteries depends on its power trait.
